If you are on the "waiting for proctor" page for more than 15 minutes, this could be caused by one or more of the following:
-
Incomplete Check-in Data (missing photo ID, room scan, or selfie)
- If the details are missing such as the photo ID, room scan, or selfie submitted, you may relaunch the PSI Secure Browser to re-submit the check-in details.
-
Weak, intermittent, or slow internet connection: Issues with the network can cause problems when connecting with a proctor; this will cause your computer to continue cycling.
- In the event that the problem persists, consider exploring alternative network connections, such as switching to a different WiFi network or utilizing a mobile hotspot. Additionally, you may troubleshoot the issue by adjusting certain network settings, including modifying the Domain Name System (DNS), temporarily disabling the Firewall, disconnecting from a Virtual Private Network (VPN), and disconnecting from any active Anti-virus software.
