macOS Sequoia (15.x) allows screen sharing, which is not supported by the proctoring platform. The screen sharing must be turned off for test takers to be able to launch the proctoring platform and proceed through check-in.
TSR can use the below steps to assist test taker's with turning off screen sharing:
Turn off screen sharing on your macOS
-
On your macOS, choose Apple menu
> System Settings, click Generalin the sidebar, then click Sharing. (You may need to scroll down.)
-
Turn off Screen Sharing.
- Screen sharing must also be disabled in Activity Monitor. To access Activity Monitor, use the keyboard shortcut Command +Space to open Spotlight, then type "Activity Monitor" or open Applications > Utilities > double click Activity Monitor.
- Find the ScreenSharingSubscriber process in the list of processes and click on it.
- Click the X button in the upper left corner of the Activity Monitor pane.
- Select Quit to close the process normally
- The process can also be terminated using the Force Quit option. Open Force Quit by choosing Option > Command > Escape on the keyboard.
