[PSI BRIDGE] Prohibited Application Issues

When the PSI Secure Browser tells you that there are prohibited applications that needs to be closed before proceeding to take your exam and the "Terminate Application" button is not working, you may follow these simple fixes:

1. Close the PSI Secure Browser by clicking the "Close (X)" button on the upper right portion of your screen.
2. On your desktop - go to the PSI Secure Browser icon, right-click, and choose "Run as Administrator".

For closing VM Ware  Application:

If you receive a "VM" application error, you will need to manually terminate it. Open the Task Manager and look for virtual machines in the Services/Details tab. The VMs may be named “vmcompute.exe", "vmms”, or have a description like "LITSSVC - Lenovo Intelligent Terminal Solutions Service". Right click the Service and click 'Stop' to end the service. You can restart the Secure Browser afterwards."

If the troubleshooting failed to terminate those applications, please "run as admin" the PSI Secure Browser and also make sure that there are no other users while taking the exam.
