Some software, such as HyperV, will remain running in the background, even if it is closed and does not appear in the task manager. If the system check indicates a program is running, but you believe it is not, ensure it is not a background process or a service running. Reboot your computer and relaunch the secure browser.
- Manually close Prohibited applications. Turn off Background Apps.
- Go to Task Manager select the prohibited program and click "End Task"
- Click the Apple logo from the top left corner of the screen. From the drop-down, select "Force Quit".
- Select the prohibited application and click Force Quit.
